Jiel Church Gathering

In Korea, a newlywed couple typically has those who have assisted with the wedding over soon after the honeymoon. My old place was rather small, so we decided not to begin doing this until we moved to a bigger apt. Thankfully, the university has remodeled a former dormitory and we now have a really cozy home.

This past weekend, some of the leaders from the Jiel English service came over. A number of the folks you see below were instrumental in the planning and festivities related to our wedding, and we cannot thank them enough. In this first pic, you see our buddy Jongjin, who helped to bring Gana and I together, with his fiancee. Please pray for them as they work on their own wedding preparations between now and August 18.


Deacon Kim Young Min, his wife Soo Hee, daughter Lucy, and son Daniel. Soo Hee was our "kitchen director" at the wedding, and Young Min helped to make a video of the ceremony for us. Their kids are champions at Tae Kwon Do(Korean martial arts).


Deacon James Lee plays a major role in helping to make the international ministries at Jiel Church a reality.


Grace Choi has been a great encouragement to Gana and I since we started dating. She's pictured here with a friend.
