The textbooks!

Over the past eight weeks, I've been taking a professional Korean class at Inha University. I've attended Korean classes here and there in the past, but this is the first time I've enrolled in a paid course. Boy, what is worth it! Not only did I learn more vocabulary, but I gained a much better understanding of Korean grammar (i.e. how things fit together in a sentence). In the process, it definitely stretched me in valuable ways and reconfirmed my own love of language study. Also, it was great to befriend folks from six countries (Regrettably, the Canadian, Jordanian, Brit, and other American couldn't make the final).
