I'm a presenter!

Earlier today, I gave my first public ESL-related presentation at a KOTESOL (Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) conference in Seoul. My topic was entitled "New Foreign Teachers: Achieving Morning Calm", play on words with regard to the Korean motto. My Wheaton education came in handy in preparing for this, as did survey responses from 27 individuals who have teaching experience here. It was great to meet fellow presenters as well as numerous attenders at the conference.
