Chiang Mai

From December 25-30, we stayed at the Juniper Tree in Chiang Mai. The Juniper Tree is a well-known Christian complex where cross-cultural workers take a break from their ministries. It was inspiring to meet folks of many nationalities, all serving our Lord throughout Asia, while staying there. Also, as you see below, there is plenty of natural beauty at the Juniper Tree.

While in Chiang Mai, Gana got to take her first Tuk Tuk ride!

It was also fun to visit the Royal Flower Exhibit, which ended in late January, during our stay there.

Gana enjoyed her first bamboo boat ride...

...and got to experience Thailand's "national animal", the elephant, in a variety of situations.

Plus, we had a blast at the Chiang Mai zoo...

...where we both saw our first koala bear!

Farewell Juniper Tree!
