P'Aom
In Thailand, there is one person who has stayed in touch, remembered my birthdays, ensured others didn't forget me, and gotten acquainted with my parents like no one else. Her full first name is Kunchalee, though most affectionally call her P'Aom ("Big Sister Aom").
I remember first meeting P'Aom in February 1998. She seemed a bit shy at first, but we soon became good friends (despite a sizable age difference). By that summer, P'Aom was attending English Bible studies every week. In April 1999, she publicly professed her faith in Jesus and asked me to baptize her at New Vision Church. To this day, she continues to grow in her faith.
During our trip, Gana and I got to see P'Aom on several occasions. As always, she proved a gracious and humorous host. I've already posted some pics on P'Aom in other places, but above is one from our boat ride/dinner down the Chao Phaya River.
