Mom and Dad's Visit

Among the best memories I have from the pre-wedding period are those that involve my parents. It was a blessing to see them. Thanks for coming mom and dad!

My parents got to visit the English service at Jiel Church, which also hosted our wedding. Here they are pictured with Mrs. Park, Elder Jung, Helen, and Jack.

One of the places that my folks checked out was my office, located inside the DLE (Department of Language Education) building you see below.

At my apt., mom had fun using Skype for the first time.

Craig Smith, one of my colleagues at Handong, and his daughter Andrea joined us for a delicious lunch at Hyoam Restaurant.

While on the way downtown, I noticed my parents taking a walk down "Handong Hill"(an essential part of my regular exercise routine).

Thanks to Alex and Yoon Jeong Bishop, mom and dad didn't have to stay in an inconvenient location downtown. Here they are pictured in front of the Bishops' guest house building.

Dad and I took one final walk together during my last afternoon as a single man. In this pic, dad is in front of my apt. building.

That night, we had a "wedding eve" pizza party with Gana's family and friends.

The next morning, we had our last breakfast before the wedding. You did a great job mom!
