What Has Missions Got to do With the World?
At Word of Life International Fellowship, we've had a series of missions-related sermons. Pastor Stuart Read preached "What Has Missions Got to do With Me?" on Sept. 6. One week later, visiting Pastor Dave Shaw shared about "What Has Missions Got to do With Me?. In early August, I agreed to preach Sept. 20 on "What Has Missions Got to do With the World?"
In Korea, I've mostly been speaking to Korean-focused English services or at Mongolian services(with translation). However, this was my first time to share in an intentionally international English service here. As you can imagine, I was a bit nervous going before so many native speakers. Yet, I really sensed the Lord used my message that day and believe the prayers of others were answered.
Here are the points of what I shared(based on Romans 5:1-11):
1. The world needs to know God's peace
2. The world needs to know God's grace
3. The world needs to know God's joy
4. The world needs to know God's love
5. The world needs to know the reconciliation found only in Jesus
I greatly appreciate Pastor Stuart asking me to preach. Our assistant pastor told me after the message that I have a gift that should be used more often. Please pray I'll be faithful in exercising it.
