One of the greatest joys I've had this semester has been in teaching two sections of Advanced English Communication. As you might expect, the focus of this course entails honing higher level communication skills. Students have participated in speeches and debates this semester, and we've also discussed a number of pertinent contemporary issues. Further, we've watched and discussed a number of movie clips together. Perhaps the greatest blessing I've experienced with these two classes, however, has involved getting well-acquainted with a number of the students (five of whom are Chinese!). Please pray I'll "make the most of every opportunity" (Colossians 4:5) with the remaining 2 1/2 weeks of the semester.
