Handong '08 Graduation
Handong University's undergraduate graduation ceremony took place today (for folks who finished in December). It's always encouraging to get see former students, and I saw more this time than in years past. Also, I'm grateful for all of the kind words that were shared with me after the ceremony. Please pray for all of the folks below as they venture into a brave new world.
Troy Kim, one of my earlier students and also a member of the Jiel English service, is excited about what the future holds in store.

Sung Kyu Park, who took the English Grammar and Composition course with me some 2(?) years ago, shines the light of Jesus through his smile. Here we are with Bagi, another student from the past.

Jesse Yun, one of my first students three years ago, now studies at the Handong International Law School.

Bruce Koh, another new student at HILS, brought much unity to the undergraduate team I led last semester.

Jae Won Chung, on a temporary leave from the Republic of Korea army, studied with me in the fall of '06. Great to see you again Jae Won!

Hyo Ju Park took one of my English Grammar Practice courses last semester. Didn't know you'd graduate so soon!
Aerin Park, who took one of my Advanced English Communication (AEC) classes last spring, currently works at Compassion International (in Seoul).

Ju Eun Kim, another student who took AEC last time, is hoping to go to the US in a couple of years for graduate study.

I just met with Stephan and his wife Un Jin again in Oct...

...but graduation day was their first opportunity to meet Gana.
