A Memorable Birthday

For the first time during my Korean journey, I got to celebrate my birthday here on a Sunday. Both the English and Mongolian service folks wished me well, and the latter even sang "Happy Birthday" to me (in English). That evening, Gana took me out to TGIF's, where I enjoyed a sumptuous steak and she had some tasty chicken. We were eventually joined there by Helen and Mrs. Park, two fellow Jiel Church members. A little later on, our friend Jinsook Lee came to see us at a coffee shop, where I indulged myself with a strawberry shake. Jinsook later gave us a cake, which we began eating on Monday morning, to celebrate the day a bit more. Thanks to all, including some friends and family members in the US, who helped to make this day extra special!
