The Purpose Driven Life (Part 2)
Recently, I read through Rick Warren's The Purpose Driven Life for a second time (The first time was in August-September '04). While doing so, I was convicted about a number of things. Some of the questions I began asking myself include:
1. Have I been fully utilizing what God has given me?
2. Am I serving in a manner that God has best equipped me to, or am I focused more on meeting the expectations of fellow church members?
3. Are my actions more other-focused or self-focused?
4. Am I sensitive enough to the needs of those around me?
5. Do I consistently seek to give my Creator the credit He deserves?
6. Do I look at people with Jesus' eyes or with my own?
7. Am I more of a complainer or do I seek constructive change when it is needed?
8. Do I value other members of the Body of Christ for whom God made them to be?
9. How could memorizing one Bible verse a week strengthen my spiritual walk?
