Preaching on the Psalms
One of my greatest joys in Korea has involved preaching on various psalms. I did this a number of times when we lived in Pohang, but have usually been given "assigned" texts or topics since moving to Incheon. However, this week was different.
This past Sunday, I shared with the church in Songdo (a relatively new neighborhood 15 minutes from our place). Here are the major points from my sermon on Psalm 95:
1. God desires our heartfelt worship (vv.1-2)
2. God desires hearts of gratitude (v. 2a)
3. God desires recognition of who He is (vv. 3-5)
4. God desires humility (vv. 6-7a)
5. God desires teachable hearts in His people (vv. 7b-11)
